Our BTEC Higher Nationals in Computing and Systems Development (QCF). Available at Level 5, these specialist vocational qualifications teach learners the key concepts and practical skills for direct progression to, or within, employment.
Units offered include business skills for e-commerce, computer systems, emerging technologies, systems analysis and design, website design and IT management.
What you will learn
The course covers the basic theories and applications of computing. The first year provides a good understanding of computer hardware and software systems, along with the everyday skills needed for working on computer-based projects. Please note that below is an indicative list of modules and is not intended as a definitive list. The HND Award requires the accumulation of 240 credits, with a requirements of 120 credits at each of the two levels. The modules listed here may also be a mixture of core and optional modules.
